Summary
Older Android phones and tablets that use Broadcom Wi‑Fi chips, such as Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 6P, Nexus 7 (2013), Nexus 9, Nexus Player, and Pixel C, can be tricked by a specially crafted app to obtain higher system privileges. This could let the app perform actions normally reserved for the operating system.
