CVE-2015-8757: TYPO3 Extension Manager lets attackers run malicious scripts
CVE-2015-8757 · published 10 years ago
Summary
The Extension Manager in TYPO3 versions 6.2 up to 6.2.15 and 7.0 up to 7.6.0 can be tricked into executing code supplied by an attacker during extension installation. This could let a remote user insert unwanted web scripts or HTML, potentially compromising the site or exposing visitor data. Update TYPO3 to version 6.2.16 or later, or 7.6.1 or later, to close the gap.
