CVE-2015-4537: EMC Documentum D2 before 4.5 allows admin ticket decryption

CVE-2015-4537 · published 11 years ago
Summary

If a Documentum D2 server is missing its lockbox file, the software falls back to a built‑in password that can be found in its code. An attacker who can log in remotely can use that password to read administrative tickets, potentially gaining higher privileges. Update to version 4.5 or later, or ensure a proper lockbox file is in place, to stop the fallback password from being used.
