CVE-2015-2751: Xen hypervisor can be locked by partially controlled guest

CVE-2015-2751 · published 11 years ago
Summary

Xen versions 4.3 through 4.5 allow a virtual machine that has limited management rights to send special control commands that can freeze the entire host server. This can cause business downtime because the physical machine stops responding. Update Xen to the latest patched release or disable toolstack disaggregation to prevent the issue.
