CVE-2015-1937: IBM PowerVC allows unauthenticated access to Ceilometer database

CVE-2015-1937 · published 11 years ago
Summary

Versions 1.2.0.x through 1.2.0.4, 1.2.1.x through 1.2.1.2, and 1.2.2.x through 1.2.2.2 of IBM PowerVC do not require a login to reach the Ceilometer NoSQL database on port 27017. This lets anyone on the network read or change the stored data and potentially gain full administrative rights. Protect the system by restricting network access to that port and applying the required configuration or patch from IBM.
