CVE-2015-1858: Qt before 4.8.7/5.4.2 can crash or run code

CVE-2015-1858 · published 11 years ago
Summary

The Qt graphics library versions prior to 4.8.7 and 5.4.2 have a weakness in the code that processes BMP image files. An attacker who sends a specially crafted BMP image can cause the application to stop working or, in rare cases, execute unwanted commands. Update Qt to the latest version or apply the vendor's patch to eliminate the risk.
