CVE-2015-1252: Google Chrome before 43 may let attackers escape sandbox or crash

CVE-2015-1252 · published 11 years ago
Summary

Versions of Google Chrome earlier than 43.0.2357.65 contain a flaw in how a data buffer wraps around memory. An attacker who can send specially crafted data could bypass Chrome’s sandbox protection or cause the browser to crash. Updating Chrome to the latest version resolves the issue.
