CVE-2014-9771 · published 10 years ago
Summary
The imlib2 graphics library used in Debian Linux can be forced into a calculation error when it opens a specially crafted image. This can make the application use excessive memory or stop working, disrupting any service that relies on image processing. Upgrade imlib2 to version 1.4.7 or later, or apply the available security patch, and avoid processing images from untrusted sources.
