CVE-2014-8900: IBM UrbanCode Deploy may execute unwanted actions

CVE-2014-8900 · published 9 years ago
Summary

The web interface of IBM UrbanCode Deploy versions up to 6.1.1.1 does not check that a request truly comes from an authenticated user. An attacker who tricks a logged‑in user into visiting a malicious page could cause the system to perform actions such as releasing software without permission. Update to the latest IBM release or restrict access and add verification tokens to protect against this risk.
