CVE-2014-5501: Sophos Cyberoam OS allows remote code execution via web page

CVE-2014-5501 · published 12 years ago
Summary

The diagnose service in Cyberoam appliances running Cyberoam OS before version 10.6.1 can be tricked into running unwanted code when it processes a specially crafted web page or file. This could let an attacker take control of the device and access your network. Update the appliance to Cyberoam OS 10.6.1 GA or later and limit exposure of the diagnose service to trusted users.
