CVE-2014-4428: Apple macOS before 10.10 can be tricked by fake Bluetooth keyboards

CVE-2014-4428 · published 12 years ago
Summary

Versions of macOS prior to 10.10 do not encrypt communications with Bluetooth keyboards and mice, letting an attacker pretend to be a trusted device if it was paired before. This could let someone send keystrokes or capture input without your knowledge. Upgrade to macOS 10.10 or later, or remove and re‑pair any Bluetooth HID devices you use.
