CVE-2014-1539: Firefox and Thunderbird on macOS allow hidden cursor trick
CVE-2014-1539 · published 12 years ago
Summary
On macOS, older versions of Firefox (before 30) and Thunderbird (through 24.6) may hide the mouse pointer after a user clicks on a Flash object inside a web page. This can be abused to make users think they are clicking something harmless while actually clicking hidden buttons, a technique known as clickjacking. Upgrade to the latest versions of Firefox and Thunderbird or apply any available security patches to restore proper cursor visibility.

Mozilla Firefox before 30.0 and Thunderbird through 24.6 on OS X do not ensure visibility of the cursor after interaction with a Flash object and a DIV element, which makes it easier for remote attackers to conduct clickjacking attacks via JavaScript code that produces a fake cursor image.
