CVE-2014-0042: Red Hat OpenStack 4.0 templates skip package signature check
CVE-2014-0042 · published 12 years ago
Summary
The Heat template files that come with Red Hat Enterprise Linux OpenStack Platform 4.0 turn off GPG signature verification for some downloaded packages. This means an attacker who can intercept the network could replace those packages with malicious ones. Apply the supplied security update or manually enable GPG checking in the templates to restore package validation.
