CVE-2013-3200: Windows USB drivers allow nearby attacker to run code

CVE-2013-3200 · published 13 years ago
Summary

The built‑in USB drivers in several versions of Windows (including Windows 7, 8, RT, Server 2003 and Server 2008) can be tricked by a malicious USB device that is physically close to the computer. An attacker who plugs in such a device could cause the system to run any code they choose, potentially compromising data and services. Apply the latest Microsoft security updates or use approved USB device controls to protect your machines.
