CVE-2013-2770: Novell Kanaka before 2.8 allows fake server certificates

CVE-2013-2770 · published 13 years ago
Summary

The installer in Novell Kanaka versions earlier than 2.8 on Mac OS X does not check the server's security certificate during a secure connection. This lets an attacker intercept the communication and pretend to be the legitimate server. Upgrade to version 2.8 or later, or apply the vendor's recommended mitigation, to ensure certificates are validated.
