CVE-2013-0799: Firefox/Thunderbird could let local user gain higher privileges

CVE-2013-0799 · published 13 years ago
Summary

Older Windows versions of Firefox (before 20.0) and Thunderbird (before 17.0.5) contain a coding error that can be triggered by a local user to increase their access rights. This could let someone on the same computer perform actions they normally couldn't. Updating to the latest versions of Firefox and Thunderbird resolves the issue.
