CVE-2013-0253: Apache Maven 3.0.4 may let attackers spoof servers
CVE-2013-0253 · published 13 years ago
Summary
The standard setup of Apache Maven version 3.0.4 turns off checks that confirm a server’s identity when using Maven Wagon 2.1. This lets someone on the network pretend to be a legitimate server and intercept or alter data being transferred. Update Maven to a newer version or change the settings to require proper certificate verification.
