CVE-2012-6691: osCMax admin panel can let attackers hijack admin session

CVE-2012-6691 · published 11 years ago
Summary

The administrative interface of osCMax versions before 2.5.1 can be tricked into performing actions on behalf of a logged‑in administrator. An attacker who convinces an admin to visit a malicious page could take over the admin’s authentication and run database commands. Update to version 2.5.1 or later, or apply the vendor’s patches, to stop this behavior.
