CVE-2012-5624 · published 13 years ago
Summary

The web‑request component in Qt versions earlier than 4.8.4 can be tricked into following a link that points to a file on the local computer. An attacker who can intercept network traffic could cause a Qt‑based application to open and expose private files. Update Qt to version 4.8.4 or later, and apply any available patches from your Linux distribution.
