CVE-2012-5352: JOSSO lets attackers bypass login with unsigned SAML

CVE-2012-5352 · published 14 years ago
Summary

The JOSSO single sign‑on system can accept SAML messages that do not contain a digital signature. Because the signature is missing, an attacker could craft a fake authentication message and gain access without valid credentials. Apply the latest security update or disable SAML messages that lack a signature to stop this from happening.
