CVE-2012-5101: JExtensions JE Poll component can run unauthorized database commands

CVE-2012-5101 · published 14 years ago
Summary

Versions of the JExtensions JE Poll add‑on for Joomla! prior to 1.1 let a remote attacker send specially crafted requests that cause the system to execute their own SQL statements. This could expose or alter your site’s data and potentially give the attacker control over the website. Update the component to version 1.1 or later, or remove it if you do not need it, and apply any vendor‑provided patches as soon as possible.
