CVE-2012-4952: Dentrix G5 exposes patient data via shared database password
CVE-2012-4952 · published 13 years ago
Summary
Dentrix G5 versions before 15.1.294 use the same internal database password for all customer installations. Because the password is the same everywhere, a remote attacker who learns it from one office can log into the database of another office and view patient records. Upgrade to version 15.1.294 or later, or contact Henry Schein to have the password reset and ensure proper access controls are applied.
