CVE-2012-4192: Firefox, Thunderbird, SeaMonkey may expose page location data

CVE-2012-4192 · published 14 years ago
Summary

A specially crafted website can trick Firefox 16.0, Thunderbird 16.0, and SeaMonkey 2.13 into revealing the URL details of the page you are visiting, bypassing the normal web‑page isolation rules. This could allow an attacker to learn which sites you are visiting or gather other sensitive information. Upgrade each application to the latest version that includes the security fix, or apply any available patches as soon as possible.
