CVE-2012-2361: Moodle web services let logged‑in users add malicious scripts
CVE-2012-2361 · published 14 years ago
Summary
Moodle versions before 2.0.9, 2.1.6, and 2.2.3 let a user who is signed in craft a service name that contains JavaScript or HTML. When that name is displayed, it can run unwanted code in a browser, potentially stealing data or changing what the user sees. Apply the latest Moodle updates or patch the affected file to stop the script injection.
