CVE-2012-2237: Mahara login and profile pages can run attacker code

CVE-2012-2237 · published 6 years ago
Summary

Versions of Mahara before 1.4.3 and 1.5.2 let a remote user place malicious web code into login forms, links, resource URLs, or a user’s display name. This could cause the attacker’s script to run in the browser of anyone viewing those pages, potentially stealing data or hijacking sessions. Update Mahara to the latest version or apply the vendor’s patches to stop this behavior.
