CVE-2012-0602 · published 14 years ago
Summary

Both the iOS version used before iOS 5.1 and iTunes versions before 10.6 can be tricked by a specially crafted web page to run any code the attacker wants or to crash the program. This could let an attacker take control of the device or cause a denial of service. Update the iPhone/iPad to iOS 5.1 or later and upgrade iTunes to version 10.6 or newer to close the risk.
