CVE-2011-5324: Centricity PACS‑IW server uses identical passwords for two accounts

CVE-2011-5324 · published 11 years ago
Summary

The Centricity PACS‑IW imaging system’s TeraRecon server uses the same password for both the shared user and the scan user. This makes it easier for an attacker who discovers one password to gain access to both accounts, potentially exposing patient images and other data. Change the passwords to unique, strong values and verify that default credentials are not in use.
