Cisco phone system can be forced to restart

Summary

Certain Cisco Unified Communications Manager versions and Cisco Business Edition 3000, 5000, and 6000 software can be tricked by a remote attacker into rebooting the device. This happens when a specially crafted SCCP registration is sent, causing a denial of service. Update to the latest software releases for the listed products to prevent the unwanted restart.
