CVE-2011-3691: Foxit Reader may run malicious files from its folder

CVE-2011-3691 · published 15 years ago
Summary

Older versions of Foxit Reader look for certain system files in the folder it is running from. If someone can place a fake file with the same name, they could gain higher-level access on the computer. Update Foxit Reader to the latest version and keep the program’s folder write‑protected to prevent this.
