CVE-2011-3448: Apple Mac OS X before 10.7.3 can be hijacked by video file

CVE-2011-3448 · published 14 years ago
Summary

A specially crafted movie file can cause older versions of Apple Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server (prior to 10.7.3) to crash or run unwanted code. This happens because the system’s media component mishandles certain video data. Upgrading the operating system to version 10.7.3 or later eliminates the risk.
