CVE-2011-0219: Safari <5.0.6 can alter text from any site

CVE-2011-0219 · published 15 years ago
Summary

Versions of Apple Safari earlier than 5.0.6 let a malicious website change how text from other sites is displayed. This works by using a Java applet to load custom fonts, bypassing the browser's normal security restrictions. Update Safari to version 5.0.6 or later, or use a browser that blocks Java applets, to prevent this behavior.
