CVE-2011-0202: Mac OS X <10.6.8 crash or be hijacked via PDF

CVE-2011-0202 · published 15 years ago
Summary

Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server versions earlier than 10.6.8 can be forced to stop working or allow an attacker to run code when they open a PDF that contains a specially crafted font. This happens because the system miscalculates the size of data in the font. Updating the operating system to version 10.6.8 or later removes the risk.
