CVE-2011-0169: Safari before 5.0.4 lets remote attackers run scripts

CVE-2011-0169 · published 15 years ago
Summary

Safari versions older than 5.0.4 allow a specially crafted web page to break the browser’s normal security barriers when the developer tool called Web Inspector is open. An attacker could use this to inject malicious code and steal data from other sites you visit. Upgrade Safari to version 5.0.4 or later, or disable the Web Inspector feature until you can update.
