CVE-2010-1299: DynPG CMS can run attacker code via crafted URLs

CVE-2010-1299 · published 16 years ago
Summary

The DynPG CMS version 4.1.0 (and possibly earlier) can be tricked into loading malicious PHP code if certain unsafe PHP settings are used. An attacker could send a specially crafted web address to make the system execute their own code, potentially taking control of the site. Apply the latest security updates or disable the vulnerable settings (turn on magic_quotes_gpc or turn off register_globals) to protect the site.
