CVE-2009-4130: Firefox can show fake script origin names

CVE-2009-4130 · published 16 years ago
Summary

Firefox’s dialog box that shows a script’s source can be tricked by a very long name, causing the displayed domain to be cut off and appear as a different site. This could let attackers make users think a script comes from a trusted site. Updating Firefox to the latest version fixes the issue.
