CVE-2009-3962: 2wire Gateway models can be forced to reboot remotely
CVE-2009-3962 · published 16 years ago
Summary
The 2wire 1700HG, 1701HG, 1800HW, 2071, 2700HG and 2701HG‑T routers with firmware older than version 5.29.52 can be made to restart by a remote user sending a specially crafted request. This causes a temporary loss of network service. Update the router to the latest firmware (or at least version 5.29.52) to stop the reboot problem.
