CVE-2009-2353: eAccelerator lets attackers place and run files on your site

CVE-2009-2353 · published 17 years ago
Summary

The eAccelerator component can be tricked into copying a program from the server into a public web folder, where it can then be accessed and run by anyone. This could let an attacker run their own code on your website, potentially stealing data or disrupting service. Apply the vendor’s update or disable the vulnerable feature to stop this behavior.
