CVE-2009-1613: Leap CMS 0.1.4 lets attackers run unauthorized database commands

CVE-2009-1613 · published 17 years ago
Summary

The Leap CMS version 0.1.4 web page that processes search terms and email addresses does not properly check the input when a certain PHP setting is turned off. This can let a remote user send specially crafted data that causes the system to run its own database queries, potentially exposing or altering stored information. Apply the latest software update or patch the affected file to validate all input before it is used in database queries.
