CVE-2009-1074: Sun Java System Identity Manager may expose data without encryption

CVE-2009-1074 · published 17 years ago
Summary

Versions 7.0 through 8.0 of Sun Java System Identity Manager sometimes send information without using SSL, so an attacker on the same network could capture sensitive data. This happens when certain network devices handle SSL termination or when relative URLs are used. Apply the vendor's security updates or configure the system to enforce SSL for all communications.

What to do

The CVE record does not list a fixed version. Check the vendor's site or the advisory links below - a fix may already be released.
