CVE-2008-6530: Living Local 1.1 admin can upload file to run code
CVE-2008-6530 · published 17 years ago
Summary
The editimage.php page in Living Local version 1.1 lets a logged‑in administrator upload any type of file, including ones that can contain code. If the attacker uploads such a file and then opens it, they can make the web server execute that code, potentially taking control of the site. To protect your site, restrict the types of files that can be uploaded, validate file extensions, store uploads outside the web‑root, and apply patches or updates from the vendor.
