CVE-2008-4711: Joovili 3.0 lets attackers run database commands via URL

CVE-2008-4711 · published 18 years ago
Summary

The Joovili software up to version 3.0 can be tricked into running unwanted database queries if a setting called magic_quotes_gpc is turned off. This lets a remote user send specially crafted web addresses to view pages and potentially read, change, or delete data. The fix is to enable the magic_quotes_gpc setting or upgrade to a newer version of Joovili that patches the issue.
