CVE-2008-4470: Numark CUE 5.0 rev2 can crash or be hijacked
CVE-2008-4470 · published 18 years ago
Summary
The Numark CUE 5.0 rev2 DJ software can be forced to stop working or run unwanted code when it opens an M3U playlist file that contains an unusually long file path. This happens because the program does not correctly check the length of the data it reads, allowing a malicious playlist to overflow its memory. Install any available updates from Numark or refrain from opening playlist files from unknown sources to protect your system.
