CVE-2008-4372: Availscript Article Script lets attackers run malicious code

CVE-2008-4372 · published 18 years ago
Summary

The Availscript Article Script's articles.php page can be tricked into executing hidden web code when an attacker supplies a specially crafted aIDS value. This could let outsiders display false information, steal user data, or hijack user sessions on your site. Update the script to the latest version or apply the vendor's patch, and validate all input parameters to prevent unauthorized script execution.
