CVE-2008-2075: AstroCam lets attackers insert malicious code via image request

CVE-2008-2075 · published 18 years ago
Summary

Versions 2.5.0 through 2.7.3 of AstroCam’s pic.php page can be tricked into running any web script an attacker supplies. This could let a bad actor display fake login forms, steal visitor information, or take control of a user’s session. Update AstroCam to the latest release or apply a patch that validates the picfile input, and consider limiting access to the affected page until it is fixed.
