CVE-2008-0730: Solaris 10 language input methods allow cross-user file access

CVE-2008-0730 · published 18 years ago
Summary

On Solaris 10, the input tools for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean and Thai create files and folders in users' home directories with permissions that are too open. This can let one local user read or modify another user's private files. Update the system with the latest patches or change the file permissions to restrict access.
