CVE-2008-0514: Glossary component for Mambo/Joomla can run attacker SQL
CVE-2008-0514 · published 18 years ago
Summary
The Glossary add‑on used in Mambo and Joomla sites can be tricked into executing database commands when a specially crafted request is sent to the catid field. This could let an outsider read, change, or delete information stored by the site. Apply any available updates for the Glossary component or remove it if it is not needed, and ensure the web server only accepts trusted input.
