CVE-2007-4700: Mac OS X Safari can proxy data to any port

CVE-2007-4700 · published 18 years ago
Summary

Safari on Mac OS X 10.4 through 10.4.10 can be made to act like a hidden proxy, letting an attacker send whatever information they choose to any TCP port on the network. This could allow the attacker to reach services that are normally blocked or hidden. Apply any available system updates or consider upgrading to a newer macOS version to stop this behavior.
