CVE-2007-3745: Apple CoreAudio Java interface lets remote attacker run code

CVE-2007-3745 · published 19 years ago
Summary

On Mac OS X versions 10.3.9 and 10.4.10, the Java bridge to CoreAudio (exposed through JDirect) can be tricked into releasing memory it shouldn't, allowing an attacker to execute their own code. This risk affects any Java application that uses the CoreAudio API on those systems. Apply any available Apple security updates or disable the Java CoreAudio bridge until a fix is released.
