CVE-2007-3592: Elite Bulletin Board lets logged-in users delete any private message

CVE-2007-3592 · published 19 years ago
Summary

A flaw in the PM.php file of Elite Bulletin Board versions before 1.0.10 lets authenticated users change message IDs to delete private messages they shouldn't control, and could be used for further attacks. Update the software to version 1.0.10 or later, or apply the vendor's patch, to close this gap. Also review user permissions to ensure only trusted accounts can access private messages.
