CVE-2007-2536: PicoZip can freeze when opening crafted ZOO archive
CVE-2007-2536 · published 19 years ago
Summary
The PicoZip compression tool may get stuck in an endless loop when it processes a specially crafted ZOO archive that contains a directory entry pointing to an earlier file. This can cause the program to become unresponsive, effectively a denial of service. Update PicoZip to the latest version or avoid opening untrusted ZOO files to prevent the issue.
